PM-KISAN is an IT solution for implementing the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme across India. It facilitates direct fund transfers to farmers' accounts, providing an annual benefit of Rs 6,000 in three installments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The program, managed by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, aims to enhance the income of landholding farmers and has established a database for farmers nationwide.

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme provides eligible landholding farmer families in India with an annual income support of ?6,000, disbursed in three installments of ?2,000 every four months via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The payment periods are April–July, August–November, and December–March, with beneficiaries notified of deposits through SMS. To qualify, farmers must own cultivable land and have a family consisting of a husband, wife, and minor children. Required documents for application include an Aadhaar Card and proof of citizenship.

  4. Not hold professional roles (e.g., doctor, engineer).
  5. Not be members of legislative bodies or municipal leaders.
  6. Applicants must provide their Aadhaar card and proof of citizenship. The scheme offers farmers an annual amount of ?6,000 in three equal installments directly to their bank accounts.
